Freckles the Frog
Freckles the Frog lives in Hole in the Log with his good friends Otis the Alligator and Buttercup the Snail. Freckles likes to tell stories about when he was younger. "You see, there was a time I was no bigger than a soap bubble. They called me Tad back then. I'd be swimming around minding my own business when all of a sudden some big ugly fish would try and catch me. That's all I did back then was run from big ol' ugly fish. Until one morning I looked down and I had arms and legs! And to boot, my tail was gone! So I hopped out of the water and well, that was that!"

In the back of the bog in an old hollow log
lives a speckled amphibian named Freckles the Frog
he croaks about the time when he had no legs
'pritner' no more than a tadpole egg
floating on the water like a big soap bubble
when up came a fish and old Freckles was in trouble
so he swam to the left, he swam to the right
he swam from the fish all through the night
And when the sun came up he couldn’t believe his eyes
the morning had brought such a big surprise
he had arms and legs and his tail was gone
he figured out what was going on
he was all grow'd up, he had gotten his wish
no more hiding from big ugly fish
